Housed in the Victoria Miro Gallery in London, Yayoi Kusama's pieces dominate across the different floor spaces and the Waterside garden. Visitors explored the upper and lower galleries, where the immersive mirror rooms "Chandelier of Grief, 2016", and "All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins, 2016" are nestled. Once enclosed, you're surrounded with the illusion of infinite space and repetition created from the reflections.
Her other key pieces featured included a series of large acrylic paintings "Infinity Nets", and varying scaled pumpkin sculptures formed in mirror polished bronze. Overall this was an inspiring and a captivating showcase of her distinctive style of artwork.
